Soma

What is Soma?
Soma is a muscle relaxant which relieves pain and discomfort caused by strains, sprains, and other muscle injuries.

Are there any side effects associated with Soma?
Side effects for Soma are not common, but they can occur. Tell your doctor if any of these symptoms are severe or do not go away: drowsiness, dizziness, clumsiness, headache, fast heart rate, upset stomach, vomiting, or skin rash. Immediately call your doctor if you experience any of the following symptoms: difficulty breathing, fever, weakness, or burning in the eyes.

How is Soma taken?
Soma comes as a tablet. Usually it is taken three times daily, with or without food, plus at bedtime. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully. Take Soma exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than your doctor prescribes.

What if I forget to take a dose of Soma?
Take the missed dose of Soma as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

How should I store Soma?
Keep Soma in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of reach of children. Store Soma at room temperature and away from moisture and heat. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.
