What is Percodan?
Percodan  is prescribed for moderate to moderately severe pain. 
 
 
Are there any side effects associated with Percodan?
Percodan side effects may include constipation, dizziness, exaggerated feelings of well-being or sadness, itching, light-headedness, nausea, sedation, and vomiting. If the side effects continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor.
 
How is Percodan taken?
Follow the directions for taking Percodan provided by your doctor. If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at once.
 
Are there any effects of taking Percodan with other medications?
Some medicines may interact with Percodan. Inform your doctor of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. It is especially important to check with your doctor before combining Percodan with alcohol, antidepressants, blood-thinning drugs, gout medications, major tranquilizers, other narcotic pain killers, promethazine, sleep aids, or tranquilizers. 
 
How should I store Percodan?
Store Percodan at room temperature in a tightly closed container, away from heat and light.
