Fulvicin is prescribed for the treatment of athlete's foot, barber's itch,
ringworm of the body, ringworm of the groin and thigh, ringworm of the nails,
and ringworm of the scalp. |

| Are there any side effects associated with Fulvicin?
|
|
Fulvicin side effects may include hives and skin rashes.
If the side effects continue or are bothersome, check with
your doctor. Less common Fulvicin side effects may include confusion, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, headache, impairment of performance of routine activities, inability to fall or stay asleep, nausea, oral
thrush (mouth inflammation), upper abdominal pain, and vomiting. Rare
Fulvicin side effects may include menstrual irregularities, swelling, itching, and shedding of areas of skin,
and tingling sensation in hands and feet. |

| How is Fulvicin taken?
|

Follow the directions for taking Fulvicin provided by your doctor. To minimize stomach irritation and help your body absorb the drug, take
Fulvicin at meal times or with food or whole milk. If you are on a low fat diet, check with your doctor. Observe good hygiene during treatment to help control infection and prevent
reinfection. If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and go back to your regular schedule.
Do not take
two doses at once. |

| Are there any effects of taking Fulvicin with other medications?

Some medicines may interact with Fulvicin. Inform your doctor of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking.
It is especially important to check with your doctor before combining
Fulvicin with blood-thinning drugs, barbiturates, or oral contraceptives. |
