What is Flonase?
Flonase is an anti-inflammatory nasal spray used to relieve nasal symptoms of seasonal and year-round allergies.
 
 
Are there any side effects associated with Flonase?
Flonase side effects include headache, nosebleed, or sore throat.  If the side effects continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor.
 
How is Flonase taken?
Follow the directions for taking Flonase provided by your doctor. The recommended starting dosage is two sprays in each nostril, once a day for adults. One spray in each nostril, taken twice a day is also effective. You may be able to reduce your dosage to one spray in each nostril, once daily, for maintenance therapy. The maximum total daily dosage should not exceed two sprays in each nostril.
 
Are there any effects of taking Flonase with other medications?
Some medicines may interact with Flonase. Inform your doctor of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking, especially if you are taking ketoconazole or ritonavir.
 
How should I store Flonase?
Store Flonase at room temperature in a tightly closed container, away from heat and light.
