What is Fexofenadine?
Fexofenadine relieves the itchy, runny nose, sneezing, and itchy, red, watery eyes that come with hay fever. 
 
 
Are there any side effects associated with Fexofenadine?
Fexofenadine side effects may include dolds or flu, drowsiness, fatigue, indigestion, menstrual problems, and nausea. If the side effects continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. Other Fexofenadine side effects may include abdominal pain, agitation, anxiety, back pain, dizziness, dry mouth, headache, heart palpitations, indigestion, insomnia, nausea, nervousness, respiratory tract infection, and throat irritation.
 
How is Fexofenadine taken?
Follow the directions for taking Fexofenadine provided by your doctor. Take Fexofenadine only as prescribed. If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at once.
 
Are there any effects of taking Fexofenadine with other medications?
Some medicines may interact with Fexofenadine. Inform your doctor of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. It is especially important that you check with your doctor before combining Fexofenadine with erythromycin or ketoconazole. Fexofenadine should never be taken within 2 weeks of using an MAO-inhibitor drug. Make sure to check with your doctor before combining Fexofenadine with mecamylamine, methyldopa, or reserpine. You should also avoid Fexofenadine if you have a pacemaker and take digoxin. You should not combine Fexofenadine with over-the-counter antihistamines and decongestants. 
 
How should I store Fexofenadine?
Store Fexofenadine at room temperature in a tightly closed container, away from heat and light.
