Acular

What is Acular?
Acular relieves the itchy eyes brought on by seasonal allergies and it reduces inflammation after cataracts have been removed from the eyes.

Are there any side effects associated with Acular?
Acular side effects may include temporary stinging and burning when the drops are applied. If the side effects continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. Less common Acular side effects may include allergic reactions, blurry vision, corneal swelling or inflammation, corneal breakdown or ulcers, dry eyes, eye infections, headaches, and inflammation of the eye or iris.

How is Acular taken?
Follow the directions for taking Acular provided by your doctor. Do not administer Acular while wearing contact lenses. If you are using Acular PF, open a new single-use vial for each dose and discard any unused contents after administering the drop. To prevent contamination and possible infections, avoid touching the eyedropper or single-use vial to the eye or any other surface. If you miss a dose apply the forgotten dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the one you missed and return to your regular schedule. Do not take two doses at once.

Are there any effects of taking Acular with other medications?
Some medicines may interact with Acular. Inform your doctor of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. No interactions with Acular have been reported.

How should I store Acular?
